NOTICE OTTAWA TALENT INITIATIVE CLOSING

The Board of Directors of Ottawa Talent Imitative (OTI) has voted unanimously to close the organization. At this time the board is asking interested parties to come forward with proposals of interest in transferring OTI to a new organization under a new mandate, with a new name. The board is also asking interested parties to come forward to express interest in furniture and equipment that will be disposed of.

Please contact Marianne Wilkinson, Chair of Board of Directors of Ottawa Talent Initiative at marianne.wilkinson@ottawa.ca to express interest.

The decision to close OTI was very difficult, however funding was not found to do the work needed and other government organizations developed service delivery models that capture most of the OTI mandate that assisted the clients of OTI.

The Board would like to thank Hamid Rahbar, Vitesse and all employees and volunteers who worked so hard over the last two years to build and maintain the OTI contribution to the community.

Welcome to OTI

The OTI is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the growth of Ottawa’s knowledge-based professional workforce (ICT - Information & Communications Technology) sector by working with the industry leaders and ICT professionals to help create job opportunities.
